| After last night, I once again realize why I want to be a high school music teacher. I went to help out two "students" also known as the two younger Umholtz kids with their pieces for county auditions since they don't have a private teacher. After working with them for a bit, both of them vastly improved with just a few basic pointers that it was amazing. The results you may ask, or most of you reading this that pay attention to this already know, they both got 1st on their respective instruments. A sophomore got 1st on euphonium and a FRESHMAN got 1st chair trombone. Unbelievable. Then again I guess I was "passing on the torch" since last year I had ranked for both of those spots that the two of them earned, first on euph and trombone. But before I helped out they were playing sloppily and things just didnt sound all that amazing. I help them clear a few things up, bam, it was districts quality playing. They both blew me away and they apparently proved to the judges that they were deserving of those chairs. Congrats to both of them. The feeling of seeing your "students" succeed is a feeling I wouldn't trade for anything. So that pretty much explains to those of you who saw me last night wondering why I was there since I graduated. I was making sure they kicked some low brass ass.

| Anyone else want to join me in a bashing of my parents faces since they're too stupid to realize that just about everyone at college needs a cosigned loan to be able to go to college and that the cosigner doesnt have to pay a single cent becasue the student signer can actually pay off the loan himself? My parents are dense and moronic and screwing my life over. Just wonderful. |

| So starts the "new life" of being in college. My computer is finally here and obviously working since I'm now typing this. But is there a reason why people still use xanga?? I've asked this to myself many times, but still cannot find myself throwing xanga away. Guess it just shows that you can't get rid of your "roots" in blogs.. hah. Well guess thats all. Keep in touch for those of you that I dont ever see anymore ! |

| So I should be updating alot more in say 2 weeks, should be getting my computer in finally! whoooo. Of course this sends me into the hole, but Im glad everything I needed with shipping only cost me $700, so its not bad at all. So im at home now, soon getting ready to head back to college, oh yay. Sounds like tons of fun for me! |

| Ok heres my wanted ad since i am absolutely DESPERATE right now.
I currently need an old laptop that has Windows XP on it, because the laptop someone gave me freezes up when trying to upgrade to XP, so Im screwed there, so I have to use the student center all the time to be able to use the internet..... just great. So if anyone has a recently outdated comp that has XP and doesnt mind sparing it, I would owe them for the rest of my life.
And I need money like you wouldnt believe it. I am so screwed with how much I find out Im going to owe, so yeah, Im in deep shit now. Any help would be a Godsend. Send me pennies for all I care! I need something to add up to pay my college bills or im going to be in the hole! This sucks ALOT. |
